Poker Ride Rules
- A Poker Run Rules and Route Sheet will be issued to each participant at time of Registration/Check-in.
- Hands can be purchased for $15.00; each additional hand can be purchased for $5.00.
- Maximum five hands per rider.
- Riders will each have their own draw (score) card.
- Seven cards will be drawn. One at the beginning (check-out), one at each marked station, and one at the end (check-in).
- Once a rider draws a card, it will be noted on draw card and then the card will be reinserted back in to deck and deck will be shuffled.
- Rider is responsible to keep draw card and deliver it to score keeper at the end of ride.
- Poker hand will be the best of five cards. Two cards will be void, unless they are used to determine a tie breaker (see rule 11).
- Ace is High. NO Wild Cards and NO Jokers.
- Only traditional poker hands will count. No five of a kind.
- Prizes will be awarded at the designated time after deadline passes and the hands are judged.
- In case of a tie, the Participant with the highest additional cards (the two cards that were not used in the five hand poker) will be the winner. Ten through Ace will count for 10 points, while other numbered cards will count for their value. Such as 1 is one point, 2 is two points etc.
- Decisions of the Judges are final.
- Please be polite and courteous. This is not a timed Run.
- The following are the winning combinations (from highest to lowest).
Winning Combinations

- ROYAL FLUSH: A, K, Q, J, 10 in the same suit.
- STRAIGHT FLUSH: Five cards in sequence and the same suit.
- FOUR OF A KIND: Four Aces down to four Two’s.
- FULL HOUSE: Three (matching) cards of one rank with two (matching) cards of another.
- FLUSH: Five cards of the same suit.
- STRAIGHT: Five cards in sequence but different suits.
- THREE OF A KIND: Three (matching) cards of same rank.
- TWO PAIR: Two pair of matching cards and one other card.
- ONE PAIR: Two matching cards and three other cards.
- NO PAIR: Scored by the highest card in hand.
